The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has announced the formation of a Youth Council—a new consultative and advisory body that will operate on a voluntary basis. The main goal of the initiative is to involve active youth in developing solutions for the effective development of the industry, improving regulatory frameworks, and promoting professions in the fuel and energy sector.
Energy Club Vice President Ivan Grygoruk has joined the selection committee, which will evaluate candidates and form the council.
The involvement of an Energy Club representative in the selection process is a logical continuation of the systematic work the Club conducts in the “Personnel in Energy” area. This topic has repeatedly been a key focus at the Club’s events, particularly during the “HR Strategy in Energy: From Education to Market Realities” forums. Energy Club actively collaborates with leading universities and develops its own online educational programs, to which it always invites students and young specialists.
“Energy Club consistently supports initiatives aimed at strengthening the dialogue between experienced market players and talented youth. Participation in forming the Youth Council under the ministry is an excellent opportunity to help ensure that the voice of the new generation of energy specialists is heard at the highest level,” comments Ivan Grygoruk.
For reference: The Youth Council under the Ministry of Energy will include up to 15 members aged 18 to 35. These may be representatives of student self-government, public associations, and other institutions working in the energy sector. Participation in the council will be on a voluntary basis. Applications from candidates are being accepted until October 28, 2025.
