On September 25th, the forum “Resilience and Transformation: Balancing Ukraine’s Energy System in a New Reality” will be held in Kyiv. During the event, graduates of the Energy Club’s training course “Communications and Interaction in the Energy Sector: Strategies for PR, Marketing, GR, and Lobbying in Ukraine” will receive their certificates.
The online course was developed for specialists in PR, marketing, GR, and lobbying from Energy Club member companies. Over 12 weeks, employees of Ukraine’s leading energy companies deepened their knowledge and acquired practical tools for working in the context of market transformation, European integration, and wartime challenges.
The program became a unique platform for the systematic development of communication competencies and received much positive feedback from participants.
Oleksandr Nikishev, representative of the Press Service of the Tolk Group of Companies, shared his impressions:
“For an electricity supply company, it is extremely important to build transparent and effective communication with both business (B2B) and residential consumers (B2C). Therefore, taking the ‘Communications and Interaction in the Energy Sector: Strategies for PR, Marketing, GR, and Lobbying in Ukraine’ course from the Energy Club was a relevant and timely decision.
Particularly valuable was that the program allowed for the structuring of existing knowledge, supplementing it with current case studies and a systemic vision of integrated communications. The lectures were distinguished by their high informational density and practical focus: the speakers shared not only theory but also their own insights and professional life hacks that really work in the real conditions of the energy market.
Separate mention should be made of the attention to strategic PR and ESG approaches. Today, they are becoming key factors in the industry’s development: a business must not only provide a service but also demonstrate responsibility to society, partners, and the state. This aspect has opened up new horizons for planning future communication campaigns.
The knowledge gained is already helping to form strategies that strengthen the reputation of an electricity supplier, promote the sustainable development of the market, and build trust with clients and partners. In the long term, this will become the foundation for even more effective interaction in the B2B and B2C segments.
I would like to wish the organizers to continue maintaining the high standard of quality and practicality of the training program, as well as to develop the areas that aroused the greatest interest among the participants.
Digital PR tools in the energy sector have already been given due attention in the course; however, this specific topic deserves a separate, in-depth module. In particular, it would be valuable to dedicate more time to modern AI-based solutions—from automated monitoring of the information landscape and crisis forecasting to personalizing communications with clients and partners. Such a focus would help participants not only to systematize their knowledge but also to acquire the tools that will determine the effectiveness of communications in the near future.
Therefore, I recommend the course to everyone working in PR, marketing, or GR in the energy market, as well as to leaders who seek to build a modern and resilient communication strategy.”
